The
H+Soft Arcade v1.15 Full
Install download has been modified.
It now supports all 7 free games installed.
However, the free games run in full screen only
and do not support any of the other H+Soft
Arcade settings. Also, for users who don't like
installers, a
Full Zipped Version
(zipped version
removed as of May 16, 2010)
of the demo has been added for download. Just
keep in mind that H+Soft Arcade depends on a lot
of downloadable content and the zipped download
is not recommended for most users, like the
games, backdrops, and skins that don't have
zipped downloads available. So make sure when
downloading games they are placed in the H+Soft
Arcade folder when installed. Also, when
installing backdrops or skins, make sure they
are placed in the 'Config' folder in the H+Soft
Arcade folder!

Hey BlitzMax Developers, I have added a free
level/map editor for download! This editor is
for creating screen based levels or large level
maps for scrolling games. I have been using
variations of this since 2006. The editor is
designed to run in the Bmax IDE. The
Zipped File
contains the source code for you to modify with
your image tile files/paths to create levels for
your game projects. Feel free to modify or add
on to the code to suit your needs. Just change
the top lines of code for your image (tile) file
parameters, such as, the tile width, height and
number of images to capture, map width and
height etc, and working map file to load or save
to. Modify the map structure (type) to add event
ID's, or whatever else you may need. If you do
so, don't forget to change the load and save map
functions to support your changes! You can use
the map structure, such as, the loading of maps
in your code - Just copy it over - If possible
maybe give me some credit for using the code. I
wrote this a few years ago for some of my larger
games to speed up production time a bit. I know
it can suck writing a little side peripheral to
get the job done - so I hope this will come in
useful for developers who don't always have a

H+Soft Arcade has been Updated - v1.15 is now
available for download!
This is a major update, which means all of the
games have been recompiled with the new updated
material. The settings file for H+Soft Arcade
and the games has been changed, so you must
update the arcade as well as all of the
exclusive H+Soft Arcade games - which does not
include any of the free games. Update details
include, FPS settings have been dropped as they
are no longer needed - the arcade and games now
use a fixed timing method only. Plus, an option
to run the games in 16 or 32 bit depth in full
screen mode has been added. 32 bit graphics is
currently the default setting. Last but not
least, downloadable skins have been added to the
Photo Gallery
for you to customize the H+Soft Arcade console
appearance!
There are
currently four skins to choose from (shown
above) and there are more on the way, time
permitting of course! I have several other skin
ideas in mind, as well well as some new
backdrops. I've just got to find time in my busy
schedule to get them done! As well as several
new games for the arcade, and a new software
that has been started. But as I said, this is a
major update, so existing users must update
everything. The best way to do this, is to grab
the 'Full Install' from the
H+Soft Arcade Downloader
