March 27,
2011: H+Soft Arcade Updated
Important Info!
>>
March 14,
2011:
Whew! I have just updated all the screen shots
for H+Soft Arcade 3D games. This includes screen
shots H+Soft Arcade displays for the games at
runtime. All the 3D games have been updated with
the new screen shots. Visit the
Games Gallery
to update the ones you have - if you'd like.
Take a look around, things are improved a bit!
March 13,
2011:
It's been awhile since a new H+Soft Arcade game
has been released, so here's a new one! Also, this
new game is from a brand new
H+Soft Arcade
exclusive series. The 'Hologram Games' series.
This new game is Volume 1.

Hologram Games Vol. 1:
BlastaPede 2D\3D. Why such a name as
'Hologram Games'? I'll tell you. With this new
series, you can adjust the anaglyph 3D offset to
make the game appear way outside of your screen
- like a hologram image! I plan on making
several games in this series, all games you
retro gamers will truly recognize, plus some
originals from my own twisted imagination. Also,
over the next week or so, I will be cleaning up
the website a bit - changes you probably won't
notice. One thing for sure I'm going to update
some screen shots for the games for the arcade
as well as some new ones for the games on this
site. Games supporting 3D graphics will have the
small 3D glasses icon in them like the photo
above. Another important recent change; Retro
Invaderz Vs. Battle has been discontinued. It
was my first attempt at a 2 player Vs/Co-Op
game, and could be done better. So that's what
I'm going to do eventually - make it better.
Even if it means an update to the original
Retro Invaderz 3D.
Or, maybe a whole new game in the Hologram
Series. Who knows, it may be one or both of the
two. Anyhow, it's back to work!
March 9, 2010:
Important website and download changes have been
made. The H+Soft Arcade Downloader page has been
removed, along with the H+Soft Arcade Full
Install. As time goes on, some images associated
with the Full Install and downloader page will
be removed also. The reasons for these changes
mainly is to save hard disk space on my server.
No worries though, H+Soft Arcade is still very
much alive, and the actual demo (with 3 of the
latest or featured games) will remain, and I
will continue to make games for the software.
The Full install was very large, and as I make
more games it takes longer and longer to
maintain and update the large file download. Not
to mention, most users probably don't even
bother with the large install, and especially
won't as the software grows. In the event of
major updates I will post direct download links
for the effected games or H+Soft Arcade updates
on either the Home page, H+Soft Arcade Info
page, or the current/latest News page. Oh, and I
know several of the back news pages make
references to the Downloader Page and the H+Soft
Arcade Full Install, which these links will be
broken until I can find time to trace through
these previous pages and remove or substitute
them - if at all. If you are looking for the
latest H+Soft Arcade Update v1.18 -

This install will update your software to the
current version. If you don't have H+Soft Arcade

February 20, 2011:
Hello Everyone! It's
been a while since my last news posting. So
here's some new stuff! I'd kept mentioning the
possibility of new backdrops and skins for
H+Soft Arcade - Well some new ones are here and
ready for download! I have added 4 new H+Soft
Arcade Console Skins and 8 new backdrop image
downloads. Two of the new backdrops are actually
images the other six are some simple color
shaded backdrops I've been intending to for
quite some time. I didn't post any screenies
here in this news post, so the best thing to do
is visit the
H+Soft Arcade Photo
Gallery to see these latest
downloads! Remember all you have to do is click
the images to start the download. Then follow
the instructions - It's very easy! But time is
of the essence, so I must get back to work on
something! There are currently 3 new games in
development for H+Soft Arcade. One is a remake
from my early days, and two new Anaglyph 3D
games. Which are 3D builds of
Jack-o's Revenge
and
Huck's Rocket Boot Hero.
I'm not going into big details at the moment.
I've been trying to squeeze the small amounts of
time I've got these days towards the HRGC
project. What's the HRGC project you ask? Visit
this
H+Soft Facebook Page
to learn more and see some pics.
