October 20, 2009:
A
small update to the news archives. Now you can
access all the past posts from the bottom of the
latest (currently this page) news page under 'News Archives'. When viewing an old news page
click 'Back To Latest News And Archives' to
return to the latest news page, the latest page
always being the newest page. The reason for
this is because often I refer to previous news
posts and this is an easy way to pick the date
of the post and click it to find the info being
referred to. Moving on now, It's been a while since a new
game has been released for H+Soft Arcade. So I
have been working on a new surprise retro mini
game for the arcade to be (hopefully) released
in time for Halloween! It's a new Jack-o game,
what better things for Halloween than
jack-o-lanterns and witches! I will post more on
this new game soon. I also have three other
games in development for the arcade also,
VersaBot, Moon Raid 3D and a 3D Huck's Rocket
Boot Hero. These games I've been slowly making
progress on, time permitting. You can learn more

news post.
October 10, 2009:
Minor H+Soft Arcade
Update.
Version
 1.12
is out now. This is a very minor update. In
fact, existing or registered users need not
update (although you should, so you always have
the latest version!) since the update pertains
to the demo version only. Rather than having
three install options, there are now only two.
The H+Soft Arcade Only Demo (or update) and the
H+Soft Arcade Full Demo (or update). So, try the
Demo or Update
your version now!

New download options
for H+Soft Arcade.
A
new downloader page has been added for H+Soft
Arcade. Now when clicking Download from the Home
page or Download/Update from the H+Soft Arcade
Info page you will be taken to this new page.
There are now three download options for you to
choose from when trying or updating H+Soft
Arcade. The options are as follows: Type 1 -
H+Soft Arcade Only. This downloads the demo with
out any games installed so you can manually
download or update the games you want to try or
update. Type 2 - H+Soft Arcade Typical. This is
the original distributed version of H+Soft
Arcade with one game installed - Retro Invaderz
3D. Which you can also download or update the
arcade and/or games manually. Type 3 - H+Soft
Arcade Full. This is the full download or update
of H+Soft Arcade with every available game
installed. This download is large but very
useful for those who don't want to take time
download or update games, especially in major

September 19, 2009:
H+Soft Arcade Updated.
Yes, again!
 This
is still
Version 1.10.
The update was so minor, I have decided to leave
the version number unchanged. The run-time
graphics drivers have been removed entirely, not
that most people know what that means or even
care! But, here's the important part. All the
current games have been recompiled with the
graphics drivers removed as well. So, this means
all the older game versions have been updated
and thus you will need to download and install
the new versions after you update H+Soft Arcade.
This is a very important update so make sure you
update everything! Unlike the last couple
updates, which you should disregard now, should
be the last. Plus, in this new version H+Soft
Arcade now defaults to running the games in Full
Screen display. If you prefer Windowed game
play, just click on 'Menu' then
'Performance/Display Settings' to change it. The
software should now run on anything, unless you
have a total dinosaur for a computer! If for
some really rare reason the arcade and games run
to fast you can lock the run speed in at 60 FPS
(frames per second) also found in the
Performance/Display Settings menu. Finally, now
I can work on the new stuff!
