Menu:
To access
the menu during game play tap 'Space', 'ESC' or Button 3
on either game pad controller. From the menu you can:
Start or Resume a game in play, Turn the Anaglyph 3D
Graphics on/off, Adjust the 3D offset (hologram effect),
Turn the retro monitor FX on/off, Toggle 1-2 player game
(requires 2 game pad controllers), Adjust the sound and
music volumes, quit a game in play or exit the game.
Players:
Supports
one or two player simultaneous VS play.
Scoring:
Scoring in Lazer Blasterz is as follows:
Tanks:
+5-25 Points depending on UFO altitude. If you
destroy a tank from the top of the screen you score
+25 points otherwise you get 5 points.
Stage:
When player's clear a stage/round they get
+100xStage bonus points.
Controls:
Supports Keyboard and Game Pad Control:
Keyboard:
Use
your Arrow Keys to move your UFO. Press Left CTRL to
fire your laser. You can fire diagonal shots by
pushing Left/Right while holding the Left CTRL key.
Game
Pad:
(recommended)
Use
your D-Pad or Analog to move your UFO. Press Button
1 to fire your laser. Hold Button 1+Left/Right on
your D-Pad or Analog to fire your laser diagonally.
Play Tips:
Shoot from the top of your screen to earn more points
when destroying the tanks. Don't forget tanks are
heavily armored - They must be shot directly in the
cannon to be destroyed! In two player games, avoid your
opponent. If you hit your opponent you both will bounce,
possibly knocking you right into tank fire! If you have
the means - Sit far away and play this game on your big
HD TV - The hologram anaglyph 3D effects are in your
face awesome!
