Menu:
To access
the menu during game play tap 'Space', 'ESC' or Button 3
on your game pad controller. From the menu you can:
Start or Resume a game in play, Turn the Anaglyph 3D
Graphics on/off, Change Anaglyph 3D display colors, Turn
the retro monitor FX on/off, Adjust the sound and
music volumes, quit a game in play, or exit the game.
Scoring:
Scoring
in CPU Virus Force is as follows:
Small
Virus:
25 points destroyed each
Large
Virus:
100 points destroyed + power-up
Stage
Bonus:
25x The percentage of virus bugs destroyed. If you
get 100% its 5000 points! Also, you receive 50x fire
walls remaining above 3.
Power
Ups:
Collect Red Ship Power-Ups to help you:
When
destroying a large virus, (you'll know when you see
one) a glowing red ship power-up will be available.
Collect these to earn extra V-Force ships for more
fire power. If you have three V-Force ships, you
will receive an extra fire wall.
Controls:
Supports Keyboard and Game Pad:
Keyboard:
Use
your Arrow Keys to control the V-Force ships. Tap:
Left Alt to Fire and Left CTRL to launch fire wall
weapon.
Game
Pad:
Use
your D-Pad or Analog controller to control the
V-Force ships. Tap: Button 1 to Fire and Button 2 to
launch fire wall weapon.
Play Tips:
Keep moving and shooting! - You'll never know the virus
formation onslaughts that may be approaching! Use your
fire wall weapon when the virus formations become
overwhelming or get out of firing range! When possible,
try to keep three or more fire walls at the end of a
stage - You receive extra bonus points for them! Try not
to let any of those pesky bugs get by, get 100% for 5000
bonus points!
