Game Objective: A mysterious crack of thunder followed by a wicked snow storm is only the beginning in what Santa must overcome to save Christmas! Help Santa retrieve all the presents on 30 challenging levels before the snow gets to deep! Beware of the snowmen! They look all cute and innocent until you get close to them! Destroy them with snowballs before they can attack you! Be sure to keep Santa stocked up on fuel for his rocket boots, if he runs out you can't fly, and you might get stuck on a level! Collect all the snowballs you can, you will need them to break ice blocks that block your path. Santa also has another special ability, he can roll through stone walls! Don't have snowballs or stone or ice blocks are in a impassible place? Stomp on TNT detonators to blast out those impassible or special blocks! Some items, presents or your path may be blocked by gates. Collect keys to switch locked and un-locked gates! Keep an eye open for special treats. Santa can collect Candy Canes, Cookies and Milk for extra points! Bored with the standard levels? Not a problem, Rocket Boot Santa features a level editor to make and play your own levels! Play them right from the editor itself or play through them all in Custom Level Mode! So, what are you waiting for! Options: Press: 'Esc' at any time to quit game | 'Space Bar' During play to pause and access the main menu. There you can: Restart the current level, Quit the current game, Resume the current game, or adjust the sound and music volumes. | Cheat Keys (registered version only) Press: F9=Full Fuel, F10=1xSnowball, F11=1xLife, F12=Level Select | Level Modes - At the main title screen menu you can select the level mode for play: Standard=Default Game Levels, Custom=Your Custom Levels.

Controls: This game supports Keyboard, Joystick & Game Pad control simultaneously - Using a Joystick or a Game Pad is recommended for playing this game.

Keyboard: Use the 'Arrow Keys' to control Santa. Left/Right=Run, Thrust, Up=Thrust or Climb, Down=Tuck or Climb, Press Down+Left or Right to Roll. Left CTRL=Throw Snowball.

Joystick/Game Pad: Use the Stick, D-pad or Analog to move Santa. Button 1=Throw Snowball.

Editor Info: How to make your own levels. First off, click on 'Level Editor' from the main menu at the title screen. Once in the editor you will see a menu at the top of your screen: New Load Save Play Help and Exit. The number in the upper right hand corner is the current level in edit. Using this editor is pretty basic, click on a menu item and follow the on screen directions. Editing: Click on the arrows in the upper left hand corner or use the Left\Right arrow keys on your keyboard to select tiles. Left click in the edit area to plot tiles. Right click to delete tiles. You can press the 'Space Bar' in the level area to set the current tile to one from your work/edit area. Now back to the menu functions. Click on: NEW=Clear the screen. LOAD=Loads levels you have made. SAVE=Saves the current level. PLAY=Play test your level - You must have Santa and at least one present to play. HELP=Toggle the scrolling help message. EXIT=Exit the editor. You can also exit the editor by pressing 'Esc'.

Play Tips: Study new levels carefully - Know where everything is! | Be careful when picking up keys - Make sure your not going to lock up important items! | Snowmen are limited to the icy brick blocks only - Use this to your advantage and hit them from a distance! | Later levels will have limited fuel bottles - Pick them up only when you need them! | Ice and Stone blocks usually have hidden items or presents in them - try to break them all on each level! | Watch all of the demos for more tips.
