Menu:
During
game play you can access the main menu by pressing
'Space', 'ESC' or Button 3 on your game pad, from there you can: Resume a game in
Play, Adjust the Sound and Music Volumes. When a game is
NOT in play, You can: Start a new game, Access the Board
Editor, Change the Board to 'Standard' or 'Custom'
(Custom plays your boards from the Board Editor), Change
Players, or Quit. From the Title Menu (not the
Pause menu) you can exit VersaBot with 'ESC'.
Players:
VersaBot
supports 1 or 2 players. You can play as either the
green or the blue bot in single player, or grab a friend
and race him/her to your charge pad in 2 player!

Bot
Basics:
Keep these
rules in mind when playing VersaBot.
1.
The bots can not move on to any cannon space - Laser or
Electro Cannons.
2.
The Bots can not touch each other or occupy the same
space.
3.
The bots can only shoot each other or tan crates.
4.
Shields only protect the bots from shooting each other -
not board hazards.
5.
When a bot hits a hazardous tile or wall, gets shot, or
falls into a pit, it looses one power point and returns
to it's start pad.
6.
The bot ROM chips are either on or off and always run
top to bottom - not the order you clicked or turned them
on!
Board
Editor:
VersaBot
features an easy to use board editor where you can
create up to 30 of your own custom boards to play! Just
click on 'Board Editor' from the Main Menu. Read the
scrolling message for help. Game Pads and/or Joysticks
are also supported in the board editor as of version
1.3.

Mouse:
Use
your mouse or touch pad to navigate the pointer -
Left Click to confirm selections.
Game
Pad:
You
can use a Game Pad instead of your mouse to navigate
the pointer in the game. A Game Pad or Joystick is
recommend for use in a 2-player VS game. Button 1
confirms selections.
Play Tips:
In a 2 player game, always watch your opponent, try to
keep in a position where you can't get shot! In a single
player game, try boards with both bots - a lot of times
the paths can be totally different! Don't forget the
bots shields only protect you from your opponents shots
and nothing else! Use a game pad or a joystick in 2
player games - it's a lot easier than sharing a mouse on
your PC or Lap Top! Don't forget rollers always roll you
the last direction moved even if you hit a chain of
sliders first! Always pay close attention to the board
round when dealing with Beams and Lasers!
